MICROBIOLOGY STANDARDS

Modular cleanrooms are increasing in demand for medical applications because they can comply with the rigid standards of microbiology cleanrooms, yet are flexible enough to accommodate whatever you need to do your work.
The study of microorganisms, whether in a molecular, medical or other domain or context needs highly controlled environments. To meet these requirements, most microbiology cleanrooms adhere to an ISO Class 7 to ISO Class 5 standard, along with a minimum of ISO Class 5 biological protection hood as the primary engineering control.
AXENIC SYSTEMS designs and builds both Hardwall modular cleanrooms, which provides the greatest level of environmental control and Rigidwall cleanrooms, which can comply with stringent classifications but also offer great flexibility. Both our Hardwall and Rigidwall cleanrooms are modularly constructed and can be free-standing or integrated elements of your existing structure, like walls, windows, or even existing HVAC.
